My experiment:
I tested 3 girls (teens), three guys (teens), 3 adults (female), and 3 adults (male).
I'm testing them on memory based on their gender, their age, and their daily activities.
What would be the independent variable, the dependent variable, and the control?
Thanks so much :)|||Dependent variable is when a variable in a research design that is free to change over a range of different experimental treatments. You have probably made a hypothesis that the dependent variable will change in some systematic way as the experimental treatments change. Examining the data that you generate will tell you whether or not your hypothesis is right.
